Miami to host the biggest Bitcoin 2021 conference in the world

The upcoming Bitcoin 2021 in Miami is set as the biggest digital currency conference in the world. About 50,000 will participate at Wynwood’s Mana Convention Center on June 4 – 5, 2021.

In this event, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Birdhouse skateboard CEO Tony Hawk, and other crypto leaders will be the speakers. This event is the real-world celebration of blockchain enthusiasts.

Things to expect in Bitcoin 2021

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez will expect to welcome thousands of people. Also, he will promote the city as a cryptocurrency hub and announce the future finances of Miami using Bitcoin.

In March, the Bitcoin 2021 conference’s original venue was in Los Angeles but moved to Miami due to the COVID-19 restrictions in California. The event organizers aim to capitalize on the tech industry.

Also, the organizers and the NFT wallet and crypto art BitBasel commissioned local artists to make a 120-degree mural. The purpose is to exhibit bitcoin history, its evolution, and its impact for many years.

The organizers and local institutions will provide conference attendees. At the same time, the crypto enthusiasts could obtain unique bitcoin activations and community-wide official satellite events.

Thoughts of conference organizers and crypto supporters

Meanwhile, the BTC Media Chief conference organizer John Riggins stated that Miami Mayor Suarez made a plan for the crypto conference.

Riggins even said that Suarez convinced billionaire real estate developer Moishe Mana to host the event. And then, Mana agreed to use Convention Center in Wynwood.

In addition, Miami Herald reported Riggins expressed that everyone has felt the excitement considering the opportunity to do something in person again.

Because of this case, Wynwood BID Chairman Albert Garcia commented that the Wynwood technology scene has expanded in the past decade. Now, it has turned to technology, innovation, and arts hub.

“We are ready to safely welcome back visitors for the first major in-person event in the last 16 months,” Garcia added. “Conference attendees will enjoy the unique, open-air offerings of the Wynwood Arts District – from our colorful streets to our internationally recognized culinary and brewery scene.”
