NFT is one of the most marketable spheres in the cryptocurrency sector while its trading value ascended close to $18 billion in 2021, a 21,000% growth from 2020.

This non-interchangeable unit of data is stored on a blockchain, a network of digital ledgers. NFTs can also be sold and traded as a digital form of audio, photos, videos, etc.

13 famous artists turn anonymous NFT artists

Due to the hype around,13 renowned artists challenge themselves and conceal their identities for an NFT art experiment. They are hiding under the group name “The Pyramids”.

In the real world, their artworks are displayed at The Louvre, Venice Biennale, Guggenheim, and other high-profile institutions.

They decide to drop all the fame they have to create a collection of 58 pieces of digital art, called The Book of Pyramid. They even hope they can find answers to their questions about NFT and metaverse.

Some of their questions are: Could art help us to understand ourselves and our demands in a digital world as well? Do we need art in the meta-universe at all? Does an NFT hysteria mirror the human need for community, for social validation?

The Pyramid created NFT collection

Every pyramid level connects to physiological, safety, love, belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. The pyramid of human needs is the theme of the first level.

“Every artist from the group chose ‘level’ for exploring within this project and as a theme for creating their digital work,” according to a press release.

As per the announcement, the international company NFTMASTERS assisted this NFT project. It will be available starting from April 28 on the leading NFT marketplace OpenSea.
